Banff to Jasper!

This was a very long, but stunningly beautiful trip! It took the whole day, as we took the slow route out of banff Park. Besides many striking mountains we saw lots of wildlife! It is the first sunny day of our trip, so I took hundreds of photos. Here are a few. We saw big horn sheep, some playing along the highway, elk, bear and mountain goats.

Thanks Sue!
It is June 10th, but I'm not putting a new entry because we've done nothing today! We had planned to go back to Jasper, but after such a big yesterday we decided to laze toady, and head east in the morning. I don't know where...I'll tell you tomorrow night! lol

WOW! Those are amazing photos Mumsy and Daddy! They look like post cards! You really need to send them into a national geographic calandar or something! AMAZING!
I hope that your trip is going swell! Things are good here and on the home stead :O) I am on long turnover tomrorow, and will head out to souris to check the ranch! Souris went into a state of emergency again, 20 something houses were evacuated near the water treatment plant....I will keep you posted, but your certainly in the clear! The Assiniboine is creeping up again, we are on flood patrol again and they are talking about bringing in the aqua dikes again! Good Grief! The portage flood way is tripple its capacity and they are a wee bit concerned out that way! Fingers crossed some form of plug pulls and all this water drains away!
Talk to you soon!!! Keep plugging away at the mountains and enjoy your holiday....things are fine here so DONT rush it and DONT rush home!
PS Adam says YEAH CANUCKS!!!!! LOL
Lots of lives from here to there!
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Oh NO!!!!!! I thought you were going for 2 weeks!
Hope you are both feeling ok and not rushing home because of illness.
Seems like you have travelled a long way in such a short space of time.
Oh well, whatever the reason - travel home safely.
Talk when you get back. xx
