June 6th....Canmore!

We have arrived! It is just gorgeous here! Our hotel is perfect, with glorious scenery all around. we will rest tonight and go explore anff national Park tomorrow!

Here is the view from our room.

Out the other side is even better, I'll show you tomorrow. Here are a few photos of the trip from Medicine Hat through Calgary to here in Canmore!

And the giants just keep getting closer and closer as we go over each hill and "Ooooooh" at the beauties before us!

Those photos do not do justice to the scenery. they are taken from my little camera. I'm not feeling great tonight, so we'll watch the hockey game tonight and I'll upload the pics from our good cameras later.

Banff looks beautiful. Great view from your room!
860kms is a long drive for one day....no wonder you guys were pooped!!
Mmmm.....the hockey - not worth mentioning!! But still up 2-1.
Night time there so no views on the Canmore live cams for now.
Hope you slept well and are feeling better for another fun filled day.

Thanks Sue, that was Canmore. It's confusing as Canmore is just outside the Banff park. Yes, the hockey game was a tragedy! I hope the Canucks can play like professionals, not brawlers next game. The hit by Rome was no worse than most other hits, the poor beggart just happened to cause a bad injury! He's done this year!
